What NS Rummy is
NS Rummy is a free-to-play card game. There is no real money, no wagering and no cash-out. This policy explains what we collect when you use the website or the Android app, and why.
What we collect
- Account details if you register: a username, an email address, a display name and a password. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes.
- Game records for online matches: who played, placements, points and chips. These power your profile, stats, rating and the leaderboard. Your username and display name are visible to other players.
- Session data: a sign-in cookie, and basic connection information (such as your IP address) that our hosting providers log for security and reliability.
- Device settings such as sound and sort preferences, stored only on your device.
We do not collect payment details, contacts, location, photos or advertising identifiers. Practice mode against bots works without an account and sends no game data to us.
How we use it
To run the game: sign you in, seat you at tables, keep score, show stats and the leaderboard, and keep the service secure. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Where it is stored
Account and game data is stored in a Postgres database hosted by Neon (Singapore region). The game server runs on Render (Singapore region). Both providers process data on our behalf under their own security practices.
Your choices
- You can change your display name and avatar from your profile at any time.
- You can sign out from any device; this ends that session.
- To delete your account and its data, email us from the address on your account. We remove the account, sessions and stats; match records are anonymised so other players' history stays intact.
Children
NS Rummy is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has registered, contact us and we will remove the account.
Changes and contact
We will update this page when the policy changes and show the new date above. Questions or requests: contact the developer through the email listed on the app store page.
